Just a quick email to thank you for all the help that you have given us in the shipment of the Roush Mustang. This has been the first time that we have ever imported a vehicle (by ourselves) from the USA into New Zealand and we were totally new to the whole regime ranging from acquiring the vehicle, getting the LTSA requirements attended to and all the rest of the red tape associated with the importation.

 

Your patience and help in relation to the questions which we have asked of you has been most appreciated.

 

If we ever intend to purchase one of the new Coyote Mustangs in the future (albeit after 2 years), we will definitely be shipping with Famous Pacific Shipping again.

I'd just to say to that the shipping of my new Corvette from Hawaii to Auckland could't have been better organised. Yes, there were a few changes and complications.

 

Importing is always going to be like that. The important thing is that the communication line was always open, you guys were always co-operative, pleasure and helpful and I'd just like to say it was a pleasure doing business. Last year I shipped 9 classic cars from the USA to New Zealand. I was fortunate enough to visit Famous Autos USA's .... USA agent Titan Shipping and was immediately impressed with the facility. I witnessed the way the cars were checked in and the care taken with them the entire time they were there until they were safely packed into the shipping containers. From there I was kept fully up to date by the FPS crew and in no time I had a call to say the cars had arrived in NZ.

 

FPS had MAF booked to inspect the cars at the Auckland facility and then after they handled the Customs paperwork we got the green light to pick up the cars - they were ours!.

 

We were pleased to see they had arrived in the same condition we dropped them off at Titan's in the USA - and the entire process was incredibly quick and painless.

I wish to thank you sincerely for the HUGE efforts you went to on my behalf to ensure my vehicle arrived safe'n sound in New Zealand.

 

From the Promptness and uncomplicated nature of the original quote, to the regular shipping ETA updates, to the landing and H.M Customs and MAF dealings trough all this you were friendly, courteous and in the vernacular - bloody helpful.

 

I took the opportunity of looking at SEVEN separate shipping rates to NZ. Some were quite ‘weasel-like' when one read the small print and at the opposite end of the spectrum others were so bold in pronouncing their exorbitant rates that I almost felt offended.(the choice was not solely based on cost)

 

Thankfully, I took F.P.S as my shipping company option.
